Is an 8mm pave band that tapers thinning at the sides too big for a pave ring that is 10mm, at the front tapering down in size of course.

I find this question a bit confusing…Do you mean an 8mm engagement ring and 10mm wedding band?
That would be over my knuckle on my hand, but it may sit differently on yours. My engagement ring is 2mm, and I chose a 3mm band to go with it so that it wouldn't be too bulky.
