My husband gave me my gold band when we were married 8 years ago. We couldn’t afford a diamond until now. I got a platinum diamond ring..but I want to wear my original gold wedding band…The platinum ring has a little gold around the diamond….Would it look tacky to wear these on the ring finger together??? Thanks

I don’t think it’s tacky at all. However, just remember that the two rings will age differently over time since they are different metals, and that the platinum ring will likely wear on your gold wedding band if you wear them on the same finger since platinum is a stronger and more durable metal than gold.
