I have cleaned my wedding ring (which is platinum), etc., but my finger gets a rash underneath where the ring is. It started happening off and on after I had my baby. Maybe I’m allergic to marriage? LOL. But seriously, what’s causing it and how do I stop it?
I sometimes get the same thing when my finger swells more than normal and the ring is tight, (usually in summer when I’m extra hot, or have gained weight due to pregnancy) I think it might have something to do with your finger not drying good enough under your ring after washing etc. Just try not to itch it, and try to keep it dry. It usually just goes away after a while. It could also possibly be due to hormones as they seem to always be changing in a womans life.
