I am going through a divorce and I thought that it would be a good Idea to have the ring melted into a new style..does anyone one know where I can do this?

Okay so my husband bought me a new wedding ring because when we got married we couldn’t afford a nice one.so he gave me one and I don’t like it.it’s just a small single diamond in platinum. I wanted a set.he knows I don’t like it. He said I thought that would make u really happy.is it wrong of me not liking it…

Ok, guys if you were getting "married" to your partner, would you go with the traditional gold/silver/platinum wedding bands. Or would you choose something with diamonds, or go completely nontraditional and choose something like a Irish Claddagh ring? Examples linked below:

My girlfriend wants a platinum ring with a 2 carat diamond in it. Approximently what am I looking at here in price

My wedding band constantly slips around so the diamonds are facing inside my palm instead of out on top of my finger. I am thinking of getting my rings sautered together so this will not happen. However, awhile back when I suggested this our jeweler acted like it wasn’t a good idea.
Has anyone ever done this with women’s platinum wedding bands & rings? Is there any reason not to do this and what does it typically cost to have this done?

My finace and I are thinking about ordering our wedding rings off of the Blue Nile website. We both want very plain– as in no gems– platinum rings. We have priced pieces of the same design at a brick and mortar jeweler, but online we stand to save about 0 total.

Is ordering from online sites like this riskier than buying the rings from a conventional store?

I found a wonderful engagement ring with a white-gold band. Since I plan to get a plain band design, I would like to go with platinum since it is considered the best. Is it okay to have a platinum band with a white-gold ring? Or is that considered unattractive or tacky?

I’m not the biggest jewelry buff but the white-gold and platinum look similar. It doesn’t look like they would contrast the way yellow-gold and platinum would. However, I would like to hear from you experts out there. Thanks!

if you’re going to post anything negative or be a wet blanket, go somewhere else! we all know its "not all about the ring" calm down. but it sure is fun to share and admire!

i’ll start off with mine, its a radiant cut solitaire set in platinum and my wedding bands are white gold (i was "over" the whole platinum thing before we got married, lol). i love my ring, and i think it looks kind of edgy!
