The band itself is always so dull. Is there a way to keep it shiny? Also, what is good for cleaning the diamonds?

Looking for pros and cons of each. Any feedback greatly appreciated!

Few questions for woman who have experienced some of the following:

I was 187 when I got pregnant, could still wear my wedding ring and my anniversary ring on my right ring finger, I gained 41 lbs so was at 228 when I had my baby by c-section (he was breech). Anyhow, I had lost 21 lbs within 2 months (December). I then lost really slowly up until march which I was at 199 at that time. I start the liquid hcg diet march 9th and today I weight 169. So that is wonderful cause I am smaller than I was before I got pregnant. Problem is, I still cant wear my wedding ring. It used to be a size 7 and now the one I wear is a size 8. My anniversary ring which is a size 8 just now fits my right ring finger so I dont understand why my wedding ring finger has still not gone down. My ring is platinum so it is going to cost me about 120.00 to get it resized. I dont know if it will ever go back to the same or if I should just go ahead and get it re-sized. I have heard of some woman’s fingers and feet and stuff never going back to the size they were before. Anyone have any suggestions? I still want to lose about 20-30 lbs so should I wait or get it re-sized? I have not worn it since about March of 09. I miss it!!

More questions- stretch marks- they are fadding as I keep loosing weight on my inner thighs but I still have darker ones on my belly and around my "love handles". I have tried all kinds of creams and stuff but they dont help. Maderma has some new theropy lotion but it costs around 40.00 and I dont know if it works.. any suggestions or advice on this product or something else I could try?
I also had a C-section and that scar is also healing wonderful and starting to fade but is there something I can use that is affordable to lighten it?

As I said I have lost all of my pregnancy weight plus some. I am working out, but of course still have a little pouch of lower tummy fat/skin/??? I am doing cardio and sit ups but is there anything else I could be doing? Advice/wisdom welcome… thanks!!!!!!!

Im trying to figure out what kind of engagement ring this is my fiance wants it has a fat band and about a inch above it there is a square diamond. like the diamond is raised above the band. anyone know what type of ring this is? ALSO anyone know any good Jewlery sites i can check out to get a price range on a nice Platinum wedding ring?
i got this ad in jared catalog however i cant seem to find the ring… there is the band which is wide and little bars that raise the princess cut diamond above the band a good distance 1 or 2 inches. anyone know a site i can find it? its showing me regular rings but nothing like this

Some guy who had a girlfriend at the time asked me if I wanted children, what kind of engagement ring I wanted, what color wedding ring I want (platinum, gold or white gold), told him it was hard to answer since I was not in that situation

talking about this with other people, he saw how the cost of diamonds has gone down and wondered why I don’t want a diamond engagement ring (I said I was not interested cuz I always wants something pretty-my birthstone)

and WHy?
I know that platinum is more expensive, but when we visited jererly stores they said they recommend white gold and that platinum was over rated. The only difference they said was that platinum holds its color, and white gold may turn a little gold over time.

My boyfriend and I are going to get engaged in December, and I want to go ahead and get his wedding band. I know the engagement ring he has for me is Platinum. Traditionally, is his wedding band supposed to match my engagement ring and wedding band, or is it kosher for them to be different?
