My husband's wedding ring is made of titanium and we want to polish it up and clean it but not sure what to use.

Put it in order and what is the best wedding ring to buy? I'm in between Titanium and White gold but I want to get the best one for my future wife.. any thoughts?
I want something really nice, I dont care about the price I have saved enough I think and I want to get the best but I'm no expert in rings and I'd like to know more about rings and since people said platinum I will go with that

My partner of almost 14 years has been pressuring me to buy titanium "wedding" rings for each other. They would be used if we were to get legally married, but in the meantime, we would wear them . I'm not big on wearing jewelry such as rings and watches all of the time because they seem to get in the way when I am using a keyboard. I work on a keyboard all day at work (If I wear a watch, I take it off).
Anyway, on our recent vacation, I finally gave in and bought matching rings. He was trilled, but after only two days, we were swimming in the ocean, he lost the ring and could not retrieve it.
I was angry and frustrated that he did not think to take the ring off before getting in the water, especially since he had been pressuring me to buy rings for several years.
I did make a big deal out of it, but I told him I did not want to keep my ring and I returned it. I also said that due to the carelessness, I would not be buying another ring anytime soon. I did not speak of the issue at all after that.
I think he was VERY hurt, but did not pursue the issue and further. After a couple of days, I thought about it and I realized I may not have handled the issue correctly.
How should I have handled it, and more importantly, what would be the best way to resolve it?

I was looking to buy my husband a new wedding ring for our Anniversary next month. He currently has a white gold ring, and one of the requirements at his job is to break down pallets of boxes. Looking at his ring this morning, I saw so many scratches and it just looks like he's been wearing it for years! Help please!! Thanx!!! =)

So I am getting my husband's wedding ring engraved. He has been deployed for several months now and we got him a titanium ring to wear out there and I have his real one. ...that you'll have to get your finger cut off? I read that somewhere and it seems really silly, but I want to make sure so we don't buy a titanium wedding band and have something stupid like this happen.

Tungsten or Titanium Ring??
Which is better for a mans wedding ring? I understand that most men don't wear them while working but which one will look the best and stay in better shape. Platinum is out of the question. ( Bad experiences with plat.) It's the small details that drive you drazy when deciding! Thanks!

What do you think is the best metal for a mens wedding ring/band? Gold, white or yellow, platinum, titanium or tungsten.
Also, i was wondering is a tungsten band just cheaper than all the rest of them? Because i rarely hear of it
