I love the look and durability of a titanium wedding ring for my guy. My question is can titanium be engraved? I want to have something engraved on the inside of the band.
Jane- He is a chef, so I think titanium is good for him but I will check out the tungsten carbide. Thanks!

Which is better for a mans wedding ring? I understand that most men don’t wear them while working but which one will look the best and stay in better shape. Platinum is out of the question. ( Bad experiences with plat.) It’s the small details that drive you drazy when deciding! Thanks!

I’m surprising my fiance with a wedding ring for our wedding (he’s expecting for us to go pick up very plain bands, i want him to have something more personal) The ring i’ve found is BEAUTIFUL, and affordable and Titanium… but i dunno how to get his ring size without telling him WHY i need his ring size.

Suggestions?

I just got married a few days ago and already notice scratches and marks on my titanium wedding band. I was under the assumption that these rings never scratch. Is there anyway to remove them?

My fiance gave me a platinum three stone, princess cut engagement ring. I found a titanium wedding band that I really, really like and would like to get, but I’m not sure if it’ll look alright mixed with the platinum.

…that you’ll have to get your finger cut off? I read that somewhere and it seems really silly, but I want to make sure so we don’t buy a titanium wedding band and have something stupid like this happen.
to janecat: that’s what i’m thinking. i read it on a wedding blog and thought it seemed a bit off.

I need to have my ring re-sized, however it’s a Titanium ring and cannot be resized only exchanged for a brand new ring. I feel like the ring I currently have holds all the meaning of the day we were married, and a new ring would just be…well… a ring. I really need a smaller ring because it feels like its going to fall off, and most likely will one day.

What is the difference between tungsten, titanium, and gold wedding bands? I am interested in knowing what the strength of each of these metals are. Which one holds up better than the others, etc. Please help I can’t make a decision on which way to go.
