I’m allergic to silver, white gold, or platinum. I LOVE silver toned jewelry, but I just can’t wear it. I had to put my wedding rings in the jewelry box because they broke me out so bad. We are looking for a yellow gold set, but everywhere we look, all they have is white gold or silver, or they have very few yellow gold sets to choose from. Can anyone suggest a good jewelry website that has a lot of yellow gold jewelry?

Are there any places that will do it same day and while you wait? I don’t want to leave my ring somewhere.

My white gold wedding ring does not have the same sparkle it used too. I know that this is just what happens to white gold so I expected it. But, I want the original luster back so I think I might have it dipped if the price is reasonable.

I have a white gold wedding set. Just before I got married I noticed my engagement ring was starting to turn yellow on the inside. I got it rhodium plated a week before the wedding. It’s been 2 months and my engagement ring has turned yellow again, but I am having no problems with my wedding band. They are both 18k white gold, both purchased from Birks Jewellers. Why am I only having problems with my engagement ring but not my wedding band? Is there any way to prevent this? I just rhodium plated it…it seems too soon to be changing.

I think I may have developed an allergic reaction to my 10k white gold wedding band (well I guess to be more accurate the nickle that it possibly contains.) Even if I wear it for a short amount of time my finger swells up and breaks out in this odd bump covered rash. Is there anything I can do to the ring that can make it wearable without this happening?
