Just wondering if ,000 is too much money for a white gold 1 karat wedding and engagement ring set? I am buying it for my fiance and I think she would love it but I want to make sure I’m not getting ripped off. It seems kind of pricey for being white gold and not platinum. I wanted to get platinum but it was almost 00 more. Please be honest because I don’t want to get screwed over, thanks. I am thinking of looking elsewhere but wanted to know what everybody thinks.
Oh btw the main diamond is not 1 karat just to clarify. It’s .40 less than half a karat and its a G quality (don’t remember the S1 number) but it’s a nice diamond—priced at 00) the total weight including the diamonds set into the engagement ring and wedding ring are 1.10 karats.

I have a white gold wedding ring and band. Since I’m no longer married, I don’t know what to do with it. The resale value of diamonds is so low I’m considering seeing if I can just have the diamonds removed and just sell the gold. Has anyone done this? Where do I go to have this done and what would a reasonable cost be?

I have my old wedding ring; total 1 carat, clarity E, white gold…beautiful ring I just don’t wanna keep my ex husbands ring of course. Does anybody know where I can go to get a biggest percentage back?

My engagement ring turning yellow, and it is white gold. Our concern is that my wedding band is white gold as well will this happen to that ring. I have my class ring I wore for about 3 years, and it is white gold, and never yellowed at all, and I beat that ring up. I’ve had my ring set for not even 8 months, and its starting to look almost gold at the bottom. What is going on?

ok….yesterday I noticed that my 14k white gold wedding band was rusting around where the diamonds are!!! Well I took it to the jewelry store where my husband purchased the ring and they told me that white gold rings usually does this!! that there was this some kind of chemical that they clean it with and you have to have it done every so often!!! I really thought this strange cause every real piece of jewelry especially white gold that I own has not done this no matter how much I wear it !!! so this makes me wonder if my 4,000 dollar wedding set is fake?? what do you all think cause I am totally stressed about this!!!!

i have only worn it since september, (18 ct white gold with diamonds) and already its gone gold, now it doesn't match my engagement ring ( 14 ct white gold ) any ideas ?
