I inheirted my great-grandmothers yellow gold wedding ring when she passed away when I was ten. It was put up and I diddnt think much about it till now, my boyfriend proposed and gave me a beutiful white gold solitare.
Can I have my inheirted yellow gold ring re-dipped or should I just wear the two together?
hmmm. tough. i would either get it re-dipped… i think this would be really suitable and look nice and have meaning and still wuoldn ruin your granma’s band as the gold wears anyway so the original will still be there but with your own flare on it.. or wear the band on your right hand and get a new wedding band to go with your engagement ring. i think either way then you’ll be respecting and remembering your grandma and you will be starting your own new life too
